MARATHON — A man armed with an AR-15 rifle who shot three Monroe County Sheriff’s Office vehicles in Marathon last Thursday night before apparently taking his own life has been identified as 53-year-old Duane Clayton Day of Marathon.

There were no injuries from the shooting.
