UPPER KEYS — After eight breaks in Islamorada’s sewage transmission pipe near mile marker 92 in recent years, the Key Largo Wastewater Treatment District is to consider a request from the Islamorada village manager for taking over management of the village’s wastewater operations.

The district board also heard an update on its data migration to internet cloud storage, which has progressed since it completed its preliminary database extraction on Sept. 12.
