Officers count out an illegal catch of snapper on Long Key.

LONG KEY — A 57-year-old Opa-locka man was arrested Friday, Dec. 24, on charges of possessing 37 over-the-limit and 37 undersized mangrove snapper.

Julio Cesar Linares was also charged for possessing one undersized red grouper and one undersized yellowtail snapper, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
