MOORE HAVEN — In the second inning of the Region 4-Rural semifinals, the Marathon High School softball team had two runners reach with an error off the bat of Madelyn Thornton and a walk by Sarah Robinson. Then in the third, two more reached safely on a walk to Meave Merryman and single by Shynell McGuire.

But none would score and that was the extent of the base runners Moore Haven High School allowed during a 15-0 mercy-rule victory on Tuesday, April 29, on the Lady Terriers’ home diamond.
