FIREFIGHTER/PARAMEDIC HONORED

Firefighter/Paramedic Harold Perez was recognized recently by the Monroe County Commission and Chief RL Colina for his 10 years of service with Monroe County Fire Rescue, which was in November 2024. He works as a flight medic on Trauma Star and is a step-up officer at Station 18, serving the city of Layton. ‘Each day has been a rewarding opportunity to make a difference and support those in need,’ Perez said. He is pictured with his daughter, Evelyn.
