In the Keys, U.S. 1 runs parallel to the old Flagler railroad. Most of the bridges have held up, but there is one that is on the verge of collapse and presents a hazard to navigation for any boaters.

I am referring to the old Bahia Honda Railroad Bridge. There are signs on the bridge warning boaters of the danger that you can't see until you are alongside. There are beams that hang down between the spans that would easily kill anyone coming through there at night without knowledge of the condition of the bridge.
