The Monroe County Commission last week issued the oath of office to Monroe County Fire Rescue Chief Rene Luis “RL” Colina. Colina’s wife, Stephanie, presented him with a county pin. Colina has led the organization since his January.

Colina started with Monroe County in February 2020 as a battalion chief and fire marshal and became deputy chief in August 2021.
