COVID lockdown five years later

The Monroe County Library and Tropic Cinema hosted a five-year retrospective of the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020 last week. The event featured a panel discussion with some of the book creators and contributors to the fundraising COVID lockdown photo book, ‘Isolated Island — The Key West COVID-19 Spring of 2020,’ which was the brainchild of Roberta DePiero and Carol Tedesco. Sales of the book raised more than $60,000 for Sister Season Fund. A second printing is in the works.
